Mini Leagues
A Mini League is a private league that any entrant can set-up. The idea is that you can challenge friends, colleagues and family via email to determine once and for all who knows the most about selecting a football team. We will wager that it is the person who spends the most time on the Vital Football pages!It does not effect your status in the overall league or your pursuit of the £5,000 worth of cash prizes. During the registration process you will be asked to provide a team for the Supporters League. This will automatically enter you into a Mini League with people who support the same team as you. You will also be given the opportunity to set-up a personal Mini League and send an email invite to your potential adversaries. Bring them on! If you've already registered a team and would now like to set-up a Mini League, login to your team and click on "Mini Leagues" in the left hand menu. To view your Mini League - Login and check out the "Leaderboards" section on the left hand menu. At the end of the season the Top 3 Mini League will win £250, £125 and £125 respectively! The Top Mini Leagues will be based on the average points total of the top 5 in each Mini League. (total of top 5 scores divided by 5) To view the Top Mini Leagues - Login and select "Top Mini Leagues" from the left hand menu. NB. Mini-Leagues will stop accepting entries at 12 noon UK time on Saturday February 1st 2008. This will prevent leading teams liaising to form their own Mini League at the end of the competition and snaffling the prize money! |
